Aaron Johnson, Associate Director, Workforce Programs

Aaron Johnson is a workforce systems strategist with more than 12 years of experience building employer-driven talent pipelines, cross-sector partnerships, and prevention-oriented workforce programs across multiple markets.

Before joining Tech:NYC, Aaron managed multimillion-dollar workforce portfolios, trained over 1,000 professionals, and built coalitions connecting employers, government agencies, and community organizations around shared economic mobility goals. His work has been recognized nationally, including a PBS NewsHour feature on a trauma response and violence prevention network he built in Atlanta.

Aaron holds a BA in English from Clark Atlanta University and an MS in Community Health and Prevention Science from the University of Cincinnati. He is also the author of The Five Rings of Equity, a practitioner framework for building equitable workforce systems.
