Carly Matz, Chief of Staff

Carly Matz is Chief of Staff at Tech:NYC. Before joining the organization, Carly spent over six years at The Estée Lauder Companies in a range of roles spanning data analytics, technology, and digital marketing. She began her career through the Lauder Summer Internship Program as a Data & Analytics Intern, where she developed a passion for using data to inform business strategy. Following the program, she joined the North America Technology team as a Business Analyst, supporting digital transformation initiatives across the company. Carly later transitioned to the North America Corporate Sales team as an eCommerce and Digital Marketing Manager, where she led efforts to reimagine the region’s eCommerce website and enhance the brand’s digital presence.

Carly is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Information, where she specialized in User Experience Design and minored in Entrepreneurship.
An avid skier and traveler, Carly is always in pursuit of her next adventure — whether that’s exploring a new destination, testing out a new recipe, or picking up new skills
