Rachel Jarrett

Rachel Jarrett is co-CEO of Zola, where today’s couples are planning their weddings. Under her leadership the company has achieved explosive growth. The most trusted authority in the industry, over 2 million couples have chosen Zola as their partner for their wedding planning journey. A seasoned executive with extensive experience working in traditional retail as well as ecommerce, Rachel has been instrumental in expanding Zola into the most innovative and supportive platform for the entire wedding and newlywed lifestage. Her collaborative approach to leadership and executive decision making has been covered by Inc Magazine, and was recently turned into a Harvard Business School case study.

Throughout her career, Rachel has been recognized for creating innovative ecommerce and digital programs. Prior to Zola, Rachel was the General Manager of Baby & Kids at Gilt Groupe. She also held senior positions at Barnes & Noble.com, where she launched the highly successful “Kids Club.” She also has extensive experience in merchandising including at FAO Schwarz and Babies “R” Us and Toys “R” Us.  Rachel also briefly left the corporate world to become a small business owner and opened a franchise location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for a children’s retail experience concept called Chocolate Works.

Rachel also advises many start-ups and is on the Tech:NYC Board of Directors. She was also on the Board of KidPass, a venture-backed digital subscription business for families, for four years. Rachel holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In addition, she has a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Economics and American Foreign Policy. She grew up in NYC and is a huge Mets fan, despite the pain this causes her and her family.
