He started Headway in 2019 after moving to New York and failing to find a therapist who took his insurance. He realized the problem ran across the whole system, and he built Headway so therapists could easily accept insurance and patients could find in-network care. Today more than 90,000 therapists, psychologists and psychiatric providers deliver care to millions of patients through the platform, making Headway the largest mental health provider network in the country. Headway has raised from  investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, GV, Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Health Care Service Corporation.
