Christopher Sharrock

Vice President of United Nations and International Organizations, Microsoft

 

Christopher Sharrock is the Vice President of United Nations and International Organizations at Microsoft, leading a team across New York, Geneva and Paris to engage with the UN and other international organizations.

In line with Microsoft's mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, the UNIO team works to build multistakeholder partnerships and use technology to advance solutions to global challenges, helping advance work across the UN's pillars. Mr. Sharrock co-chairs the Business at OECD Digital Policy Committee and represents Microsoft on the General Assembly of the Paris Peace Forum, as well as the United States Council for International Business’s Board of Directors.  Previously, he held a number of senior roles in the UK Government, working at HM Treasury, as Chief Economist at DCMS, and as UK Ambassador to the OECD in Paris. He has degrees in English Literature and Economics.
