Brian Hirsch

Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Tribeca Venture Partners

Brian Hirsch is a native New Yorker and co-founder and Managing Partner of Tribeca Venture Partners, one of New York's longest-running venture firms dedicated to backing technology companies in the city.  He has spent more than two decades investing in and building New York's tech ecosystem — beginning well before venture capital had a significant footprint here. Prior to founding TVP in 2011, Brian built and led the venture arm of Greenhill & Co.

Since founding TVP, Brian and the firm have invested in more than 60 companies, including early investments in New York based unicorns AlphaSense, ACV Auctions (Nasdaq: ACVA), and AppNexus (acquired by AT&T for $1.6 billion), as well as BetterCloud (acquired by Vista Equity), ShopKeep (acquired by Lightspeed), Thinkful (acquired by Chegg), Backtrace (acquired by Sauce Labs), and Yellowjacket (acquired by Intercontinental Exchange).

TVP has deployed the majority of its capital in the New York market across every fund since inception.

Brian holds a BA in economics and American studies from Brandeis University.
