Tech:NYC is built on the backs of companies and investors who love their city and support its growth as an inclusive and diverse technology hub. Our goal is to encourage everyone in tech to participate in our democracy and to stand up for the ideals that make tech a force for good in the world. In that spirit, we created this forum for providing resources and tools to support the values fundamental to our community and its future.

- The New York Immigration Coalition aims to achieve a fairer and more just society that values the contributions of immigrants and extends opportunity to all. To that end, they promote immigrants’ full civic participation, fosters their leadership, and provides a unified voice and a vehicle for collective action for New York’s diverse immigrant communities.
When you have something to say, contact your elected representatives. Tech:NYC partnered with #LetsGoPostal to design postcards so that you can write elected representatives. To host a postcard party at your company get in-touch.
The International Entrepreneur Rule was enacted to ensure entrepreneurs from around the globe could come and build their companies in the United States. It now faces delays and may be rescinded. Weigh-in by filing comments with the Department of Homeland Security.

- Refugees Welcome is an organization which helps organize dinner parties for recently resettled families.
- Help close the funding gap faced by IRC NY. IRC NY resettlement is a public private partnership between that receives a per-capita stipend. Since the current administration decreased the quota and halted the entire program, the government halted funding used to support newly arrived families' basic necessities, food, employment, ESL services etc

Tech:NYC’s Leadership Council helps to identify worthwhile opportunities and organizations to give time, money, and resources to. A committee of the Leadership Council solicits recommendations from our community and helps identify aligned opportunities on an ongoing basis.
