Tyler S. Bugg is Director of Partnerships for Tech:NYC. Prior to joining Tech:NYC, Tyler was Associate Director of the flagship New York City hub of New America, a public policy think tank and civic enterprise committed to renewing American politics, prosperity, and purpose in the digital age.
Previously, he has also served in positions with Fourth Arts Block (FABnyc), Obama for America, Congressman John Barrow (D-Ga.), and the Georgia Political Review. In 2012, he was named a Millennial Values Fellow at Georgetown University's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, and in 2013, was named the recipient of the Postgraduate Research Prize at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. His writing has appeared in TIME, Pacific Standard, Salon, and Mic, among other publications.
Tyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Georgia and a Master's degree from the Center for Art and Public Policy at New York University.
