Chad advises Tech:NYC on legal strategy and special projects. Chad has spent over a decade working as a technology lawyer with a special interest in balancing consumer interests with business needs. He has worked as product and business counsel at Twitter, where he helped get Twitter’s advertising products off the ground and helped shape Twitter’s speech and privacy policies. At Google, he counseled the Chrome and ChromeOS product teams, with special focus on consumer privacy and advertising policy. He was a founding member of the privacy group at Fenwick & West, LLP. Before law school, Chad worked as a software engineer for six years. His master's thesis applied neural networks and fuzzy logic to the game of Go and distributed network agents.
